Rhythmic Roots is a percussive symphony of tap dance combined with the playing of unconventional instruments such as buckets, crates, and more. Audiences will experience the diverse background and percussive music of tap dance, as well as the other percussive dance styles that influenced its creation. The ASU Beebe Theatre Company will open the show with a musical theatre montage from the film, The Greatest Showman.
Ticket sales and additional donations help fund the theatre and fine arts programs at ASU Beebe as well as arts education programming and tap dance workshops that Untapped provides for local schools and community organizations. Tickets are $15 and are available online at asublife.ticketleap.com/untapped or through the Owen Center Box Office, and at the door. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the show is at 7:00pm.
